Came here for 5 nights with my wife, everything was wonderful. The location was exceptional and marvellous, really close to castles and tranquil scenery. Conveniently located near shops and restaurants. The hotel is situated by a bike path to Fussen.

The location was exceptional, with the hotel situated conveniently close to the castles, Fussen, Schwangau, and shops. The breakfasts offered a wide variety of tasteful homemade products and meats. The staff was amazing and very helpful in resolving any issues.

The room (24 on the 2nd floor under the roof) was lovely with a view on the castles, with a balcony large enough to have a drink enjoying the view ! The owner ia a lovely lady, very helpful. The breakfast is fantastic in a lovely, lovely room. Oh and the bathroom in the room has a bath and shower, very nice after a tiring day.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Schwangau and had an amazing experience. The owner was very welcoming and allowed us to check in early in the morning. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with the castle and beautiful surroundings just a short distance away. Our room was clean and had a nice view. The breakfast served at the hotel was outstanding, with a variety of homemade dishes that were absolutely delicious. The price was also great for the quality we received. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I would definitely recommend this hotel, Landhotel Guglhupf, to anyone visiting the area.

very kind staff welcomed us with a lovely dog clean room with view to the castle although a bit distracted by a tree in the middle very nice breakfast in nice decoration ask for a back room as the street might get busy well prepared tourist info available in the hotel
there was a black mark on the bathroom ceiling from water falling through the roof window - it should have been painted
